It's that time of the year
again! No, I don't mean Christmas, actually. ;-P I mean, it's the time for
fangirl hearts to beat faster. Recently, a lot is going on in various fandoms since
new stuff has been released and others are approaching quickly to make their
way into our hearts.
Fangirling, book adoring, story loving and cat cuddling writer blogging about her life. Be sure to be entertained by the hilarious madness of fangirl confessions and check back for witty revelations and the fun projects I come up with!

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug - An unexpected experience
While I liked An
Unexpected Journey, I absolutely loved The
Desolation of Smaug! Entertainment at its finest and an emotional
rollercoaster for me, I can't help myself and will bother you with my most
humble and emotional review. (SPOILER ALERT!!!)

TVD and procrastination
No worries! This won't be a post about me watching The Vampire Diaries all the time to procrastinate. Because that would be lame, right?! ;-P (But seriously, if you haven't watched season 4 yet and plan on doing so, you better not read on.)

Introducing the humble writer of this blog
Hi, I'm
Liz!
I'm
studying English or to be precise: English and American Studies. (Yeah, weird,
I know, but they insist on naming it that way in Austria! Sorry! ;-P)
Well, and
this is my blog! Welcome to this space of mine! ^^
I will use
and abuse it to get over writer's block, write about my obsessions (you'll find
out soon enough what's that all about ^^) and just to experiment with having a
blog, really. I don't know how serious this will get, because I'm actually
doing this for fun! ;-)
A bit more
maybe about me, since this post serves as a little introduction: I love
reading, writing and the English language. While studying, I discovered my
obsession with words and now I hope to make a career out of it. Let's see how
that goes! ;-)
And
language is also always about culture, right? Here, I particularly fell in love
with the verdant country of fairies and leprechauns. Éire or the Emerald Isle,
just to name a few of the names for (if you haven't guessed it yet) Ireland.
This is one of the fist things that people find out about me quickly - that I
love Ireland! I've been to the country three times so far for work, a visit and
eventually studying and I'm planning on going back soon again! Just
love the people there! Irish hospitality is not a myth! It's become my second
home. But don't worry, you won't just read posts about Ireland. There will be a
lot of fangirling about TV-shows, books and movies. Ye be warned! ;-)
And just to
make it useful not only for my sanity and my obsessions, I might even have some
posts relating to my studies, in particular to my BA thesis. Posts about
writing and inspiration might come up as well. I'll see in which direction
blogging will take me. For now, I'll just go with the flow and hope some people
are actually interested and bear with me!
And now, if
you'll excuse me, I gotta leap!
Enjoy! ;-)
